We met at THE Ohio State University and never got around to going our separate ways. It started cheap — the Indy 500, away games, a tent. Then jobs happened and cheap became golf. And every February, Cabo, because Ohio in February is a sentence, not a season.

The formula never changed. Golf all morning. Pool all afternoon. Poker all night. We went out plenty — and when we went out, we strutted. But the best night was almost always the one we stayed in.

And every one of those nights, we were in the same loose, soft, gloriously unserious lounge pants. We called them Live Loose Strut Pants.

Cabo, 2012. Poolside, we decided the pants should be a company — and named every garment we could think of before the ice melted.

Then we filed the notes away for fourteen years.
